# 0.3.5

> Cogno Desktop connects to Cogno through its own address, api.app.cogno.studio. Existing installs switch on their own and stay signed in.

## TL;DR

* **A new connection address.** Cogno Desktop now connects to Cogno through `api.app.cogno.studio`.
* **Nothing to set up again.** After the update, the app switches to the new address the next time it starts. You stay signed in, and your computer stays connected to your workspace.

## A new connection address

Cogno Desktop and the computer it runs on now reach Cogno at `api.app.cogno.studio`. The switch happens the next time the app starts after the update. Your sign-in and your computer's connection to the workspace carry over, so there is nothing to register again.

If your network only allows specific hosts, allow `api.app.cogno.studio` on port 443. [Network and proxies](/docs/network-and-proxies.md) lists every host Cogno uses.
