| **Direction** | Receive — Cogno reads Teams channel and chat activity for workspace context. |
| **Connect with**   | Microsoft **admin consent** (a tenant-wide app grant).                       |
| **Who can set up** | A Microsoft tenant admin — connecting grants app consent for the tenant. |

Connect Microsoft Teams and Cogno reads your channels' activity, using it as workspace context and turning actionable messages into **proposed tasks**. Because Teams consent is tenant-wide, an admin sets it up once for the whole organization.

* You can sign in to Microsoft as a **tenant admin** to grant app consent.

<Note>
  Teams connects through Microsoft admin consent, not a personal login. If you're not a tenant admin, ask one to complete the connection.
